Planning your visit in advance? Why not take a look at our suggested routes to make sure you get the most out of your trip to Malton Open Day?

We are aware that there is so much to see and do when you arrive in Malton and hope that his handy guide gives an opportunity for you to see as much as you can.

If you would like to see as much as you can in Malton and Norton, we suggest you head straight to Highfield Gallops (YO17 9QG) where you jump on one of eight shuttle buses travelling around the town, dropping off at the yards of John Quinn, John Wainwright, Julie Camacho, Ollie Pears and Suzzanne France.

If you would like to visit Richard Fahey’s yard and meet Royal Ascot winners The Ridler and Perfect Power, head to Highfield Gallops where you can use the shuttle bus to take you directly to the yard. Please note that there is no parking available at Richard Fahey’s yard and unless you have booked the additional gallops experience you must access the yard via the shuttle bus.

Mick & David Easterby – YO60 6TN

If you are heading to Highfield Gallops via the A19, why not stop off at Mick and David Easterbys yard on route? The yard, steeped in winning history, is home to many recent winners and you are sure to receive a warm welcome from Mr Easterby himself. Follow the A19 to Easingwold and head to Sheriff Hutton where you will find New House Farm. Leave the A64 at Flaxton and follow the signs to Sheriff Hutton. No need to pick up your tickets before, we will have ticket sellers at the gate where you can collect your pre-paid wristbands and purchase on-the-day tickets.

Tim Easterby – YO17 6TY

Travelling from Thirsk direction? What about popping to Habton Grange and meeting Tim Easterby in the town of Little Habton? Spend some time getting to see the horses before driving over to Highfield Gallops (YO17 9QG), where you can jump on the shuttle bus and visit some of the other yards in the area.

Roger Fell – YO62 7TU

If you are travelling from further North, the yard of Roger Fell is based at Arthington Barn Stables in the town of Nawton Beadlam. Just a short drive off the A170, why not pop into Roger’s yard and meet the team before heading to Highfield Gallops?

Sara Ender – YO17 8RN

There is something to offer for everyone in all directions with Sara Ender also opening her East Heslerton yard. Sara’s yard is based West of the town of Sherburn and if travelling on the A64 you will pass the yard between Sherburn and West Heslerton.
