If you have pre-purchased your ticket, bring along the email containing the QR code, which can be on your mobile phone or printed out, to any of the opening yards. You will receive either an open day wristband or a York Races ticket, depending on your purchase. (If you forget the email, do not worry, we can check you in by name also.)
If you have pre-purchased combined tickets and do not attend the open day, you will need to meet a member of the Racing Welfare team at York Racecourse by the Houghton Building (SEE MAP HERE) to collect your York Racecourse entry ticket. You cannot enter York Racecourse without an official York Racecourse ticket. The first race at York starts at 14.30 (gates open 11.15 am)
Additional tickets and York Races add-on tickets are available to purchase on the day. Children under 18 are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
