If you have pre-purchased your ticket, bring along the email containing the QR code, which can be on your mobile phone or printed out, to any of the opening yards. You will receive either an open day wristband or a York Races ticket, depending on your purchase. (If you forget the email, do not worry, we can check you in by name also.)
If you have pre-purchased combined tickets and do not attend the open day, you will need to meet a member of the Racing Welfare team at York Racecourse by the Houghton Building (SEE MAP HERE) to collect your York Racecourse entry ticket. You cannot enter York Racecourse without an official York Racecourse ticket.
Additional tickets and York Races add-on tickets are available to purchase on the day. Children under 18 are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We have been made aware of a few issues with the new ticketing platform not issuing QR codes to purchasers. If you have purchased tickets, you WILL have them, so do not worry in that regard. Come along to the day as planned, and we can issue your wristband or York Tickets accordingly from a door list.
